Interdisciplinary doctoral programme

Interdisciplinary doctoral programme in subject Didactics

A doctorate in the field of teaching mathematics can be completed within the framework of an interdepartmental doctoral programme in didactics.
The doctoral programme in didactics qualifies students for the scientific examination of didactic issues in educational institutions (schools, universities, further education centers, etc.). The subject matter is teaching and learning processes in different subject areas, taking into account cultural, social, societal and individual contexts and influences. In their dissertation, doctoral students undertake the independent tackling of new scientific questions. They expand and deepen their theoretical knowledge, methodological and interdisciplinary competencies.

More information can be found on the official homepage of the University of Graz on the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme in Didactics.
