Doctoral School Mathematics and Scientific Computing

The doctoral school provides a common framework for the training and mutual networking of our doctoral students. It is closely linked to the corresponding doctoral school at TU Graz.

The formal basis for the doctoral school is currently being revised. Once they have been finalized, this page will be revised accordingly.

The Doctoral School Mathematics and Scientific Computing is an internationally oriented doctoral school of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Graz. Prof. Gundolf Haase and Prof. Kristian Bredies are the directors of this doctoral school.

As part of NAWI Graz, there is close cooperation with the corresponding doctoral school in Mathematics and Scientific Computing at Graz University of Technology. Mutual supervision of doctoral students and joint courses and seminars, in particular the jointly organized doctoral seminar, are signs of this cooperation.
